Baby Blessing Dress

I need to work on a few projects before I return to the puppets. My brother and sister-in-law are due to have their baby any day now and they requested that I make a baby blessing dress for them. I was more than happy to do it. The crochet pattern is by Sarah Sweethearts. This was how it turned out:

The lighting was not the best in the picture, but it turned out beautiful. I've used this pattern several times and it's free! Here is the link: Little White Dress

The flower is not part of that pattern. I glued it to a hair clip so it could be clipped to the dress or used in her hair. The link for the flower is here: 6 Petal Flower This pattern is also free!

I used a pattern for the Mary Jane shoes, but I won't recommend that pattern. I had to make a lot of changes to it to make it work. Honestly, it was really frustrating. I think I spent more time on the shoes, than the dress. 

I highly recommend the dress and flower pattern. Both were easy to do and turned out amazing. They both have pictures to go along with the instructions, plus, they are free. That's my favorite price. Happy crocheting!
